Adding Applications
There are two ways to add applications to AppButton: the easiest way is to simply drag the application from the Finder and drop it on AppButton, but you can add them manually as well.
Flip the widget over to the back by clicking the small 'i' button. You can add applications to the list by typing their names in the 'Application Name' field. A Spotlight-esque menu will appear with all of your apps that match what you've typed so far. Simply click the app you would like to add. You can sort and delete applications using the buttons on the right side of the list.
To open an application, simply click in the middle of the front side of the widget. A pull-down menu will appear with all your applications in it. Select the one you want to open; Dashboard will disappear and open the application for you.
Other Fun Features
To create a group, go to the Groups tab in the preferences. Enter the name of the group you would like to create and click the '+' button. To put applications into a group, select that group from the Groups pull-down menu above the applications list, then add, move, or remove applications in that group. Move a group up or down with the arrow buttons located next to the groups list in the Groups tab.
AppButton has the ability to search on the front size. Click the right arrow button above the 'i' button to show the search bar. Type in the application or widget you are looking for, and click on the one you want to open. If the application you want to open appears on top, you can simply hit the 'enter' key to open it.
If you want to add an application that appears in this list to your saved list, simply click the Add button. A drop down menu will appear where you select what group to add it to. To hide the search bar, simply click on the left arrow button that is now in place of the right one.

AppButton includes a built-in help system. Flip the widget over, and select the '?' button next to the 'Done' button in the lower-right corner. Some nifty boxes should pop up to point you in the right direction.
