Web Translator Support
So how do I translate stuff?
To translate a web page or text, use the upper-left select menu to select which you want to use. An '@' symbol represents a web page, and a 'b' represents text.
Type in the text or URL you want to translate and select the languages you want to translate from and to. Then click the 'Translate' button. Babel Fish and Google Translator will load in your default browser and display the translation you are looking for.
To change which translation engine you want to use, flip the widget over using the small 'i' button. Then use the select menu on the back to choose if you want to use BabelFish, Google Translator, or both. Both is the default.
How do I change the browser Web Translator opens?
To change your default browser, open Safari (even if it isn't your favorite/soon to be default browser). In the menu bar, go to Safari -> Preferences. Under the 'General' tab on the top bar, there is a pull-down menu labeled 'Default Web Browser'. Use this pull-down menu to select which browser you would like to use.
What on earth is a Babelfish?
It is a fictional species of fish from Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. When it gets inserted into one's ear it translates everything that the person hears for them. (See this Wikipedia article for more information.)
